I really liked CASD whenever I was in Elementary School. I always had good teachers and a good administration that had resources for me. However, in middle school the higher administration became very difficult in terms of helping or working with students and their work. Now, while I like most of my teachers, some of them are also incredibly difficult. While I was in the hospital for blood clots in my lungs, I was treated kindly by some of my teachers, however, others were incredibly difficult. In addition, the higher administration shows favoritism on different sports and their ability to work with them to do half in person days and half online. It took 6 years of battling with them to allow my fellow gymnasts and I to do this despite already doing it for the ballet students not affiliated with the school and every other school sport also.

My thoughts on Carlisle Area School District were off and on, it felt like sports were overvalued, but we never won anything, and it felt like the main goal was to just push students out the door on graduation day rather than to prepare us for actual life. The school wasn't horrible, but I felt that all of the teachers were tired and were overworked. Many of whom I saw working part time jobs in town. It felt like faculty were held on a leash anytime they wanted to do something and administration did everything they could do to look good. The common politics I suppose. All and all, I ended up all right, that's the main point of school really, so CASD wasn't all bad, but it certainly wasn't the shiny new car in the lot either.

Carlisle High School is a very diverse and unique school which is always ready to help their students in any way possible. I have had a great experience being a student their the past four years and believe the welcoming atmosphere sways largely to students success. The best part of my experience has been connecting with so many new people and being able to pick from a variety of courses. On the other hand, the worst part of my experience at the High School would be the thought of leaving my teachers that have helped me tremendously throughout the years.
