Nani signs for United pre-season opponents Melbourne Victory

Former Manchester United winger Nani has put pen to paper at Australian outfit Melbourne Victory - meaning he could take on the Reds this week.

United will travel Down Under ahead of Friday’s match with the A-League club after taking on Liverpool in Bangkok at 2pm today. Nani, 35, has signed for Melbourne on a two-year deal.

He left Old Trafford in 2015 after scoring 41 times and tallying 73 assists in 229 matches, during which he lifted four Premier League titles, the Champions League and a Club World Cup.
