What is the Sam’s Club RxSavings Program*?
All Sam’s Club Members can save money on prescriptions through theRx Savings network powered by America’s Pharmacy. Rx Savings allows all Members to have access to generic medications starting at $4. In addition to generic drug price discounts, there are discounts to brand name medications at Sam’s Club pharmacy and 62,000 other participating pharmacies too.
What do Sam’s Club Members need to do to receive this pricing?
To receive the prescription discount at the Sam’s Club pharmacy, members simply present their Sam’s Club Membership card at the pharmacy drop-off window. Members must have an active membership. To receive the discount at other participating pharmacies, search your drug at samsclub.com/rxsavings,select the pharmacy of your choice and download the RxSavings Powered by America’s Pharmacy discount card using the link below the displayed price. Present this card to the participating pharmacy.
Is a Plus Membership** required for Rx Savings?
No. All Sam’s Club Members automatically qualify for the Rx Savings program however only Sam’s Club Plus Members received Plus Program membership benefits.
Can Rx Savings be used in conjunction with discount cards?
No. This program is a third-party discount card and cannot be combined with insurance, other discount cards or vouchers.
How does the RxSavings program work with insurance?
Both the RxSavings program and Sam’s Club Plus Member pricing program cannot be used in conjunction with insurance or a government healthcare program (like Medicare).
How do I know if I should use this program versus my insurance or government healthcare program?
Our Sam’s Club pharmacy team will be happy to help you understand the cost of your prescription drugs through the Rx Savings program allowing you to decide which program is best for you for that particular medication. Please note that the RxSavings program cannot be used in conjunction with insurance or a government healthcare program (like Medicare).
Is Rx Savings limited to just the Sam’s Club Member listed on the Membership Card?
Rx Savings is available to active Sam’s Club Members and others that live in the same household including minor children.
Will Rx Savings provide discounts to immunizations, diabetic supplies or pet meds?
Yes, currently these discounts apply to immunizations, diabetic supplies and certain pet medications.
Are there restrictions to the quantity of my prescription?
For most generic drugs the $4 or $10 price applies to a typical 30-day supply.
Are any medications excluded from the program?
The Rx Savings Programdoes not provide any discounts on controlled substance medications.

There are no additional fees for Sam's Club members to use the Program. Program prices are not available to the general public and do not constitute Sam’s Club usual and customary prices. Discounts are available exclusively through participating pharmacies. The range of discounts will vary depending upon the type of prescription and the pharmacy you choose; the program delivers average savings of 65%, with potential savings of up to 80% off of the regular retail prices based upon 2022 national program savings data.
