Trip Planning The late night events are worth it

Cool moment on my trip this week - got to ride ToT all by myself! They’re a little pricey, but those after-hours events are worth it in my book.

Did you get one last ride in? And are you excited for the next version?

Personally, I am happy for this next iteration, even though I am a big fan of Test Track. I never got to ride on World of Motion, so even a ride inspired by it sounds nice to me.

Discussion ILL availability for Galaxy Rewind after 1PM

My strategy is to try my luck on the 1PM VQ and if I can’t get any I will buy the ILL, but I’m afraid ILL won’t be offered after 1PM. What’s the likelihood of ILL still offered after 1PM? I can’t really find a good answer online..

Trip Planning Meeting Stitch

My 2 YO is obsessed. I was able to book Ohana for breakfast, but is there any other way to guarantee meeting Stitch? We don’t eat pork and while I’m not expecting a ✨great✨ breakfast, $60/person seems steep JUST to meet him.

Trip Planning What is the best tasting character dining at WDW

I've recently learned that a lot of people seem to thing the food isn't good at chef mickey's so I was wondering which character dining people actually thought tastes good

Merchandise Got to play spot the difference with one of the newer shirts at Emporium today

It certainly isn't rare that merch slips between Disney resorts, but it can be interesting to see the design changes in person.

Trip Planning One day only…

My husband and I may have the opportunity to head out to Florida to visit a friend. We’d be staying in Jacksonville with them and we’ll be renting a car and he’d be willing to make the drive down to Orlando 😍 but we have to choose one park for the day. Which one would you choose and why? Thanks in advance! ☺️

Discussion Vinylmations

Does anyone know of any in-person groups or conventions where people sell/trade Vinylmations? I know there's a lot of online stuff but I wanted to know if there's any in-person stuff I could look for. Thank you in advance for any information.

Trip Planning Neck fans worth it?

EDIT: Wow, thanks to everyone for all the input! Looks like it's very much a YMMV thing, so we decided the only way to know for sure is to try them. We've ordered a couple of different inexpensive models and will try them out along with our cooling towels. Thanks again!

Not a post about Disney World per se, but about combatting the heat . . . we're off to WDW in about a week, and I was wondering if a neck fan is a good investment. Last time we were there I got one of those spray fan bottles but I found it cumbersome to lug around. Does anyone here use a neck fan? What about the ones that actually make the air colder as well as just blowing air? Are they secure on rides or do you take it off? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Food Orange Julius Drink- Resorts

At some point in time, probably around 10 years ago, the pool bars for at least a couple of resorts had this Orange Julius type of drink. (Like at Fort Wilderness Lodge and maybe Port Orleans or some of the others also had it). It was sort of like the Lava Smoothie in the sense that it was a smoothie type thing, and it was fruity and non-alcoholic, though it was an orange type drink instead of Raspberry, pineapple, and coconut like the Lave Smoothie.

However at some point they removed the drink off the menu and just left the Lava Smoothie. My dad really liked this drink and it was one of his favorite things he had at Disney. Does anyone remember this drink, and if so, does anyone know what they used to make it?

Slowly but surely the garish designs are being joined by more modest designs that are capable of being worn anywhere. I love a good Disney shirt, but most of what has been available in the past hasn’t had much of a place outside of the parks. But this trip I noticed there were far more designs that I would work into my every day rotation.

Traveling with boyfriend who has anxiety in large groups - we always skip fireworks because he can’t handle the crowd without a panic attack.

Wanted to see what was best value…. He’d be fine watching in the reserved area too, since it’s more spread/reserved.

Discussion How do YOU like to park hop?

Trying to come up with the best strategy. I think I want to end up at MK so we can be there in the evening and for the fireworks. If you've park hopped, what's your day looked like? Especially for those who have tried to do three parks.

Trip Planning Thoughts on Ohana

I have been hearing a lot of negative stuff from multiples sources, with the best reviews saying mediocre at best. My wife had been really eager to go, we used Mouse Watcher with success, and she is a huge Stitch fan. Now I hear the character experience is usually limited and food ranges from inedible to ok.

Is it worth going once to say we tried? Sounds like a 70% chance of being very disappointed and 30% just ok experience. Or is it so bad we should just cancel and do something else?

Edit: for breakfast

Merchandise Idea to get Bluey merchandise into Disney World.

So I saw a post the other day on how there is space in Epcot to add more countries and the OP asked what countries we would want to see. I think one answer should be Australia. Then like how you can buy Nintendo merchandise in Japan, you could buy bluey stuff in Australia
