@DukeEnergy @NCStateWolfWolf Latest info my ***. It says my power should have been back almost 2 hours ago. Truly one of the worst companies ever.
- MRS_1Pump (@MSR_1Pump) reported
@DukeEnergy hurry with this power in freezing
- Alex Palmer (@Winter_Atheist) reported
@DukeEnergy **** you and your bullsh*t cookie cutter responses. I don't want your bullsh*t apology I want to know when ******** my power will be back. Your site says it should have been back on an hour ago!
- Kaye 🌹 (@K_Blissful) reported
@DukeEnergy @__ToooNiice So are y’all taking money off the bill due to not having power for over a day ?
- Ron (@dlaNor1601) reported
@DukeEnergy I know it's a money thing, but Duke Energy really needs to consider putting your power lines under ground. We have gone thru all our fire logs and our condo is getting to the point where we may have to leave it and go to a hotel room(if one can be found)
- 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘦 🇬🇧 (@Londongirlie78) reported
I would be fine paying @DukeEnergy rate hikes if they would do something about the transformer at Pembroke & Friendly in Greensboro. In 6 yrs, it has exploded 5 times leaving me w/out power for at least days. At 29 hrs now & my house is colder than outside.
- Kaitlyn Fiene (@kaitlynfiene) reported fromGreensboro, North Carolina
Hey @DukeEnergy, our power has officially been out for over 24 hours. I haven’t received an update in over 12hr on the repair status. AND we live in an apartment so can’t hook up a generator to keep our fridge cold🙄 (aka- food is going bad) #annoyedcustomer
- eyeheartplants (@LrdSeitan) reported
@DukeEnergy Wish y’all had a bot that could update your website. Still think you get power to the triad by 11:45?
- Taylor of House Targaryen🐉 (@firenthephoenix) reported fromDurham, North Carolina
My mom lives 45 minutes from me & there was a bad ice storm Friday night. She’s been 36 hours without power & her well water runs on a pump which uses electricity🥴 Her stubborn *** won’t come stay with me either. Hoping her power gets restored STAT. #DukeEnergy #DukePower
- Jeff Egerton (@jeffe04) reported
So @DukeEnergy had power restored yesterday within three hours, but yet again it takes @Ask_Spectrum 24+ to restore internet access...I know Spectrum, "Hubs & Nodes, hubs & nodes...".
- Andre Conway (@ConwayAndre) reported
@greensborocity @DukeEnergy A new power company is what is needed.
- Steve Wayne (@SteveWa01738304) reported
@DE_JeffB @DukeEnergy We are located in the Pleasant Ridge Rd area of Greensboro. The power outage here effects over 2300 customers and the Duke power number says crews haven’t arrived and have no estimate as to when work will begin. Can you give us an estimate?
- Ola (@Jumok3) reported
@DukeEnergy Apology will be accepted when the service is restored and the whole house feels warm again.
- Alex Palmer (@Winter_Atheist) reported
@DukeEnergy Fat chance of that since you incompetent people haven't fixed my power, so I get to spend valentine's day watching one of my pets die to the cold. Thanks got that.
- Christian (@BeskieCH) reported
@DukeEnergy When will the power be restored in Roxboro?? No power for over 28 hours.
- courtney ♡彡 (@httpscourtney) reported
@DE_JeffB @DukeEnergy omg i hope this turns our power back on, we are in waterford place apartments on N Elm!!!
- Alex Palmer (@Winter_Atheist) reported
@DukeEnergy wish I had any other choice of energy provider cause you guys are useless. But since you have a monopoly on power in my area all I can do is ***** about how ******* awful y'all are. I thought we had laws against that kind of **** but I guess that doesn't matter.
- Susan Pohlmann (@susanpohlmann) reported
@DE_JeffB @DukeEnergy This seems to be caused by Duke Power abandoning all preventative measures in our area. Years ago, Duke used to trim trees that were in a position to threaten the powerlinesl. This has not happened in years. Still Duke Energy requests rate increases every year. Disgusting.
- Glen (@glennergy58) reported
@DukeEnergy area code is 27214. Address is 8113 Kelly Oak Drive. can you give me an update as to when our power will be restored?
- Christian (@BeskieCH) reported
@DukeEnergy There are several thousand people who have to relocate temporarily now in these adverse conditions because they don't have power. Retirement homes without power. We need answers.
- John (@John08201261) reported
@greensborocity @DukeEnergy You know back when I was a kid (no literally, like 15 years ago. I grew up in a place that decided it would be a smart thing to put power lines underground. Not a single weather related power outage after that as long as I was there...
- Jeff Brooks (@DE_JeffB) reported
@JamonRodriguez1 @DukeEnergy Most customers will be restored. Some will carry over but we are reaching out to those today to let them know
- Heather Wolf (@purpleHEW) reported
@DukeEnergy I’m just glad it’s back! Dunno what that Larry guy thought he was trying to point out.
- Alex Palmer (@Winter_Atheist) reported
@DukeEnergy its 11:48 am. Your site says my power should have been on by now. Can I get an actual update on when my power will be back? I have a pet scorpion who is literally dying from the cold and if he doesn't make it I am going to be beyond pissed off
- christian (@christi03303377) reported
@DukeEnergy Want a f*cking medal for your efforts? P*ss off!! This is your failure. This would not be as extensive had you performed regular tree trimming and made the investments to bury the lines. You have done neither. You are cheap and irresponsible and this is on you.#DukeFailedNC
- City of Greensboro (@greensborocity) reported fromGreensboro, North Carolina
From @DukeEnergy - As of 10 am we have 41,753 customers still without power. Our local linemen have support from crews that were brought in from the southern and eastern parts of the state.
- Heather Wolf (@purpleHEW) reported
@Larry62885437 @DukeEnergy Actually my roommate drove out around 2am to see if the truck was still here - he found the 2 feet of cable problem and called it in. It was just fixed it. Don’t sass me.
- Tony Kaelin (@tony_kaelin) reported
@tarheeltanya @DukeEnergy I always pray for the safety of our Duke Energy cohorts as they work in the most dangerous conditions to restore customers.
- SCRUBSlayerX (@SCRUBSlayerX) reported
@JamonRodriguez1 @DE_JeffB @DukeEnergy Could be worse, could be in Rockingham County. Greensboro numbers keep going down, Rockingham are barely moving. At this rate Greensboro will be restored before Rockingham and they had more than double the outages!
- John (@John08201261) reported
